12th March, 2016
Early Morning Volunteer from the village, Aqua Salus team members, AFS-Nepal volunteer with JAFS Deputy Director Ms. Noriko Atsuta Malla headed toward the Work site. The work site is about 20 minutes far from the place where we were staying. As the water pipeline was to be joined in the upper level, middle level and lower level of the village. So in order to accomplish the work in time we (all of the members) were divided into three groups. As per the division of work we all started working. Everyone were working very hardly but for the Aqua Salus team members it seemed to be a bit difficult for them because they are not used to it and might be its there first time using shovels, the way of working is also different, to communicate for them with the locals were difficult (different language) and also the day was very sunny but still they didn’t lose hope and were still very energetic. We had a break for about an hour then again after an interval we started working. Everyone was very tired working whole day. In night we had a meetings were the community members, Aqua Salus team members discussed about the work done today and also made plan for tomorrow.

13th March, 2016
The same work plan of
previous day but as the one team had finished the work in the lower level of
village so on this day the finishing team were divided into other two groups.
After an hour we almost finished the digging part. Then we started putting the
pipelines in the upper level of the village and did the finishing part (putting
the mud over it). The pipeline in the lower level of the village was kept by
the villagers. We had break for an hours. Again we headed towards work but this
time we only had to do the finishing part. Besides this due to the bad weather
we had to head early towards our tents to dig pit in sides of our tent for the
flow of water. In the end we had a meeting. At night we had camp fire and
discussed about volunteering and its importance.
14th March, 2016
As our work for water
project was almost completed. So as per the yesterday meeting we had a plan
which was made by the community members going inside the jungle where we can
see the National flower named Rhododendron,
mountains it was almost like a Trekking. Then in day time we visited
Saraswoti Ni Ma V School where the school principal warmly welcomed us. Aqua Salus
team members introduce themselves with the children and teachers. They sang a song
for the children even the children sang and danced for them. It was like
exchange of culture. Aqua Salus team members gave pencil for the children which
brought simple on their face. They played games with them. On the way to our
tents it started raining heavily and it
started being cold the road became too slippery because of the red mud. We had
a meeting before launch. All of us went towards our tent as it was too cold.
